  • Sports

    The students at Epiphany Cathedral School are encouraged to participate in a variety of sports activities. We consider the athletic experience to be an important part of our students' overall development and are proud that upwards of 70% of our Middle School student body participate in interscholastic athletics. The foundations of our athletic programs are hard work, teamwork, sportsmanship and leadership taught along with an implicit curriculum of faith. We hope our students will realize and maybe exceed their athletic skills while learning life lessons as a result.

    We will work hard to maintain proper perspective that a student-athlete is a student first and athlete second. Our goal is athletic success but with greater aspirations of cultivating young people to achieve success both in and out of school.

    Golf is good!
    The game involves all of life’s issues:

    * self-reliance
    * self-confidence
    * persistence
    * dealing with disappointment
    *anger management
    *grace under fire
    *and above all, keeping a sense of humor.

    Mental toughness is the ultimate challenge, a useful character trait in today’s world. There is lasting value in finding some comforting ways of sharing daily life. Golf is a chance to build a life long bond with your children.
